Peak fall colors occur mid-to-late October at lower elevations near Gatlinburg (around 1,400 feet). Higher elevations peak earlier - early October at Clingmans Dome (6,643 feet). Our cabins offer front-row seats to this natural spectacle, with mountain views from every deck and hot tub!

October weather is ideal: highs in the 60s-70s°F, lows in the 40s-50s°F. Higher elevations are cooler. Mornings are crisp - perfect for fireplace and hot coffee! Evenings are cozy hot tub weather. Pack layers. Rain is possible, so have indoor backup plans (our game rooms help!).
