Funky Bear Lodge is the celebration pick. It is 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, with an 8-person hot tub, a 12-seat theater, and a game room. The finishes and layout lean more "milestone trip" than "spread-out reunion." Choose this for birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette weekends, and groups that want the extra bedroom suite.

Need 16 to 24 guests? Book both lodges together. They sit in the same community, so you get two kitchens, two theaters, two hot tubs, and eleven bathrooms without a shuttle between houses. Check-in is 4:00 PM Eastern and check-out is 10:00 AM Eastern. There is a 2-night minimum most of the year, and some peak weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4, fall color weekends) require a longer stay. Parking fits a normal group of 3 to 4 vehicles. How far is a sleeps-12 cabin from Dollywood and the national park?

About 20 minutes to Dollywood (12 miles) and about 7 minutes to the park entrance at Sugarlands (3 miles). Downtown Gatlinburg is about 8 minutes. That is the reason groups stay here instead of splitting between a Pigeon Forge hotel and a Gatlinburg hotel.
