March temperatures range from 40-60°F. April warms to 50-70°F. Expect variable weather - rain is possible and actually makes waterfalls more impressive! Pack layers and a rain jacket. Higher elevations in the park will be cooler.
Yes! Dollywood typically opens for spring season in mid-March with the Festival of Nations celebration. It's about 20 minutes from our cabins. Check their website for exact 2025 dates as they vary slightly each year.
Most lower elevation trails are open year-round. Higher elevation roads and trails (like Clingmans Dome Road) may not open until late March or April depending on weather. The trails closest to Gatlinburg - Laurel Falls, Grotto Falls, Sugarlands trails - are typically accessible.
