🐾 Our Pet Policy
To ensure a clean, allergen-free environment for all our guests, pets are not permitted in any of our Gatlinburg cabins. We understand this may be disappointing for pet owners, but this policy helps us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for guests with allergies.
Traveling to Gatlinburg with Pets? Here Are Your Options:
🏠 Local Pet Boarding & Daycare
Several excellent pet boarding facilities in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area can care for your furry friends while you enjoy your mountain vacation:
- Camp Bow Wow Pigeon Forge - Full-service dog daycare and boarding
- Smoky Mountain Kennels - Trusted local boarding facility
- Pet Paradise Gatlinburg - Daycare and overnight options
- Local veterinary clinics - Many offer boarding services
We recommend booking pet boarding in advance, especially during peak season (holidays, summer, and leaf-peeping season).
🥾 Pet-Friendly Activities in the Area
If you're staying elsewhere and have your pet with you, here are some pet-friendly options in the area:
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
While most trails don't allow pets, dogs ARE permitted on leashes (6 feet or less) on these two trails:
- Gatlinburg Trail - 1.9-mile paved path from Gatlinburg to Sugarlands Visitor Center
- Oconaluftee River Trail - 1.5-mile trail on the North Carolina side
Downtown Gatlinburg
Many downtown Gatlinburg shops and restaurants welcome well-behaved, leashed dogs on their outdoor patios. The Gatlinburg Parkway sidewalks are dog-friendly for leisurely strolls.
🏡 Why We Don't Allow Pets
We love animals, but our no-pet policy exists for important reasons:
- Allergen-free environment - Many guests have pet allergies
- Wildlife protection - Bears and other wildlife frequent our mountain location
- Cabin preservation - Protects our luxury furnishings and linens
- Guest comfort - Ensures a fresh, clean experience for everyone
