What Pigeon Forge Winterfest is
This is Pigeon Forge's citywide winter light season, with more than six million lights. The official listing runs November 6, 2026 to January 31, 2027. The official listing location is 186 Old Mill Avenue, Pigeon Forge. We do not invent a citywide kickoff minute. The source of truth is the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism Winterfest page.
Wonders of Light Walking Trail
The Wonders of Light Walking Trail is free. It runs along the Riverwalk path. The official listing calls it pet and wheelchair friendly, with 45 or more nature-themed displays. The listing address is 186 Old Mill Avenue. We do not write turn-by-turn directions or a trail start point, because those are not confirmed on the official page.

There is a Driving Tour of Lights along the Parkway. That is the version guests do from the car when they do not want to walk. Parkway traffic is heavy on weekends. If you want a slower look, use the walking trail instead.
Winterfest Christmas Village
The Winterfest Christmas Village is listed November 13 to 15 and November 20 to 28, 2026. It has 40 or more artisans next to the walking trail. Those are the only village dates on the official page. We do not invent extra weekends.
Winterfest at The Island
Winterfest at The Island runs November 21, 2026 to January 31, 2027, and it is free. Kickoff is Saturday, November 21: Santa at 5 p.m., a free concert at 7 p.m., and the lighting of a 40-foot walk-through tree at 8 p.m. Fountain shows run nightly at 6, 7, 8, and 9 p.m. Those times come from The Island's official Winterfest page. Pairing: Dollywood by day, walking trail at night
Dollywood Smoky Mountain Christmas runs November 6, 2026 to January 3, 2027. That is a full Pigeon Forge day. Do the park by day, then the Wonders of Light Walking Trail after dark. Do not stack a late Dollywood close with The Island tree lighting on November 21 if you want both. Drive-time notes for the park are on our cabins near Dollywood page.
